Girls interested in registering for our tryouts for our 14s, 16s, and 18s teams- Grades 7-11, please use the link above to register for our teams.
Tryout dates will be:
14s Tryouts: (7th and 8th Grade 2025-26 school year)
Monday, November 3rd- 7:00-9:00
Friday, November 7th- 7:00-9:00
Wednesday, November 12th- 7:00-9:00
Sunday, November 23rd- 12:00-2:00
16s and 18s Tryouts: (9th, 10th, 11th Grade 2025-26 school year)
Sunday, November 23rd- 2:30-5:30
Players must register using the registration link and pay the deposit towards season fees. This will be refunded if a player does not make a team after tryouts.
Players will need to bring to tryouts:
1. USAV Tryout membership card
2. Tryout Fee- $60.00- 14s players; $25.00 16s, 18s players
3. USAV Medical Form
Dates: September 23, 29, October 7, 20, 27
Time: 7:00-8:00
Location: Schroeder Middle School
$75.00 (bring to the first session)
Space is limited to the first 16 players for 3rd and 4th grade and the first 16 players for 5th and 6th grade.

Tryouts tentatively will be held the first week in December. Practices December-Februrary with tournaments January/February.
For families interested in 12's teams (5th and 6th grade in 2025-26 school year), the registration link will be available in late December/early January. The link will be emailed out when it is ready.

The mission of the Stars Athletics Volleyball Club is to develop and further the volleyball skills of girls attending Red River High School in the Grand Forks Public School District. Placement on a Stars Athletics 16's or 18's team is given first to girls who attend Red River High School. If a player is not a student at Red River and/or a student in the GFPS system, placement on a team will be based on year by year basis.
Placement on a 12's or 14's level team is open to girls who attend school in Grand Forks Public Schools.
We are associated with United States Association Volleyball (USAVB) and located in the North Country Region (NCR).
